INTRODUCTION

Mr. Yuichi Kori is a Visiting researcher at the Center for Rule-making Strategies, Tama University. He is also a member of advisory committee of Technical Regulations, Standards and Conformity Assessment Policy Office of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and a manager of Public Affairs Team, Corporate Communications Department of ORIX Corporation.

He has graduated from Keio University Faculty of Economics. He joined ORIX Corporation in 2007 after working at Fujitsu Limited and a film production. He has worked as a researcher in Macro Economic Affairs Division, Economic and Industrial Policy Bureau, METI where he was involved in analyzing domestic and overseas macro economy and financial markets from 2015 to 2017. He has been in his current position since 2018.
He currently supervises public affairs related to the ORIX Group’s environmental energy business. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of renewable energy, electricity markets, and climate change, he has a wide network of politics, industry, government, and academia, and makes various policy proposals.
He also has a deep knowledge of ESG management, finance / FinTech, and SME management.
He has completed the CRS program at the Center for Rule-making Strategies, Tama University.
