INTRODUCTION

Motoki Nishio is a Partner at EY Strategy and Consulting Co., Ltd. In his teens he was recruited by the CEO of FFRI, a well-known computer security company in Japan. At 19 years old, he became the youngest speaker to give a presentation at “CODE BLUE,” a major security conference held in Tokyo. He then moved to Yahoo! Japan where he trained 1,000 “white hats” in identifying security weaknesses in various systems. In 2016, he joined Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting and currently works under Toshifumi Kokubun, a Senior Fellow at Pacific Forum CSIS. Mr. Nishio’s current responsibilities at Deloitte Tohmatsu include cybersecurity regulations and “red team” operations.
