[Overview]
The crisis brought about by COVID-19 has been a moment for many countries, including Canada, to underscore the importance of strengthening cooperation among like-minded allies and enhancing secure supply chains. And the lockdowns around the world have revealed critical weaknesses in the systems that transport and manufacture critical goods. We have lost out because the world’s democracies have relied too heavily on authoritarian regimes.
In this virtual seminar, we examine how our democratic allies can work together to protect our economic security in the pandemic and after that.
