Haruka MASUKATA is a Visiting researcher at Center for Rule-making Strategies in Tama University, English-Japanese Translator and a lobbyist. CEO of Mememori.Inc.
Graduated from Keio University (2012) with a degree in Law (LL.B.) and completed the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Law and Political Science (J.D.) in 2016.
Joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2016 and retired in 2018.
While serving as a national public servant, she continued to receive passionate encouragement or rage from the public and was entangled in the extreme demonstrations. Those experiences made her consider about how bureaucrats and politicians should work and its significance of existence, or how to reflect nation’s will.
After her retirement, she worked as a freelance to set up a public policy department for a venture company, and at the same time, experienced a parliamentary member internship.
